1. INTRODUCTION AND CONTACT INFORMATION
1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the sale of goods by St Albans Gifts ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the Customer", "you").

2. OUR PRODUCTS & CUSTOMISATION
2.1 Nature of Goods: We operate a "Print on Demand" business model. This means that we do not hold inventory. When you place an order, the item is printed and fulfilled specifically for you by our third-party production partners.
2.2 Product Images: Images of products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. We cannot guarantee that a device's display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the printed products, and slight variations may occur.
2.3 Sizing: Sizes are approximate. Please refer to the sizing guides provided on the product pages before ordering, as we are not responsible if you order the incorrect size.
2.4 Requests for Changes (Customisation): * Standard Designs: Our products are sold with the design exactly as displayed in the product photos unless explicitly stated otherwise. * Contact Before Ordering: If you wish to make any modification to a design (e.g., adding a name, changing a quote, or altering colours), you must contact us at hello@stalbansgifts.co.uk BEFORE placing your order to agree on the change. * Order Notes: Requests for changes made only in the "Order Notes" or "Message to Seller" box at checkout without prior email agreement cannot be guaranteed and will not result in a refund or replacement if the change is missed.
3. ORDER PROCESS AND CONTRACT
3.1 Placing an Order: By submitting an order, you are making an offer to purchase the goods.
3.2 Acceptance: We will send an Order Acknowledgement email, but the contract between us is only legally formed when we send you the Shipping Confirmation email.
3.3 Right to Cancel (Business): We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason, including product unavailability, errors in pricing, or suspicion of fraudulent activity. If we cancel your order, we will refund you in full.
4. DELIVERY
4.1 Production Time: Please allow 2-7 working days for production, depending on seasonality, before the item is dispatched, as products are made to order.
4.2 Delivery Estimates: Delivery times provided are estimates only. We rely on third-party carriers and are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, customs clearance, or events outside our reasonable control.
4.3 Customs and Duties: Orders for delivery outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes. We have no control over these charges, and you, the customer, are responsible for payment of any such duties and taxes.
5. RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND CANCELLATIONS
Please read this section carefully as it affects your statutory rights.
5.1 Custom and Personalised Goods (Exempt from Cancellation): Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the right to cancel (the 14-day "cooling-off" period) does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications. This applies to:

Goods clearly marked as personalised or custom.

Standard goods where a modification was agreed upon between you and us prior to purchase (in accordance with Clause 2.4). For these goods, you cannot return the item or receive a refund simply because you changed your mind or ordered the wrong size/colour.
5.2 Standard (Non-Personalised) Goods (Right to Cancel): If you purchase a standard, non-personalised design, you have a legal right to cancel your contract within 14 days of receiving the goods.

You must return the items to the designated return address within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel.

You must return the items to us at your own cost.

Items must be returned in their original, unused, and resaleable condition.

RISK OF LOSS WARNING: We strongly recommend that you use a tracked and insured shipping service for all returns. We cannot accept responsibility for returns that are lost or damaged in transit and do not reach us. If a non-tracked item is lost, we will be unable to process your refund.
5.3 Faulty or Damaged Goods: If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or a misprint (as protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015), you are entitled to a replacement or a refund.

Once the fault is verified, we will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including the cost of any initial delivery.
6. PRICE AND PAYMENT
6.1 The prices of the products will be as quoted on our website at the time you submit your order. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the prices of products are correct.
6.2 We accept payment by the methods specified on our website. You must pay for the products before they are dispatched.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
7.1 If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are only responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence.
7.2 We are not liable for any delays in printing or shipping caused by our third-party production partners or external carriers unless directly caused by our own negligence.
7.3 We only supply the products for domestic and private use. We have no liability for any loss of profit, loss of business, or any indirect or consequential loss.
7.4 Our total liability to you in respect of any losses arising under the contract shall not exceed the total price paid by you for the products.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
8.1 All designs, text, graphics, logos, and images on our website are owned by or licensed to St Albans Gifts and are protected by UK and international copyright laws.
9. PERSONAL DATA AND PRIVACY

9.2 By placing an order, you agree that we may share necessary contact and shipping details with our third-party fulfillment partners solely for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your order.
10. GOVERNING LAW
10.1 These Terms are governed by English law. You agree that any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your respective country.
